Motorola’s Android 3.0 tablet confirmed

At the D: Dive into Mobile conference today, Andy Rubin, the VP of Engineering at Google demonstrated Honeycomb on a Motorola tablet. Honeycomb, the next version of Android (3.0) has yet to be made public- we haven’t even gotten our hands on Gingerbread (Android 2.3) – is rumored to be optimized for tablets and dual-core processor support. Sure enough, the Motorola tablet that was shown off at the event packed a dual-core 3D processor, an NVIDIA processor, and has video chat capabilities. It sure looks like it’s the Motorola tablet codenamed Stingray that was rumored awhile ago. Either way, the tablet looks great, and we can’t wait to see more of it. 2011 come already!
