LG to design dual-screen phones in the future?

LG has recently applied for a patent that covers a dual-screen smartphone. We all know that a dual screen design isn’t new, and on here it’s not much different from say, a Nintendo DS. Only instead of flipping the device open, you get to slide it out here. The dual screens could act like a monitor and a keyboard combo- similar to Acer’s dual-screen Iconia laptop/tablet, or possibly just one huge touchscreen like a mini tablet of some sort. Since patents don’t give us a lot of details to work with, we can only speculate. What do you think of a phone like the one shown in the patent, would you be interested in owning one?
