There is now a jailbreak for the Clear iSpot that is easily achievable with a few simple clicks on the internet. The Clear iSpot, a WiMAX MiFi hotspot device from Clear has been a pretty popular device since its launch. After all, who wouldn’t want unlimited WiMAX access for only $25 a month? The catch was that it would only work with iOS devices. Some folks have managed to hack the device to enable it for all devices, but before that it was a pretty complex affair. Now, the developer behind one of the original iSpot hacks has provided users a way to unlock the device through a website. With this “jailbreak”, the $100 device is now much more versatile and useful originally intended. It’s only a matter of time before Clear fixes this vulnerability but until then, enjoy the WiMAX access on your Android tablet or phone.
