iPhone’s Graphics Set To Improve?

After checking out Infinity Blade on the iPhone, it’s hard to convince anyone that gaming on the iPhone isn’t a good idea. The folks over at Imagination Technologies probably think so too as the company has acquired Caustic Graphics. You might not be too familiar with these companies, but the former is tasked with making the iPhone’s GPU and the latter is well known for awesome 3D graphics, so they should have plenty of areas to explore together (pun intended). While it isn’t immediately obvious what benefits this move will bring to the iPhone, we’re guessing that more impressive gaming experiences are on the way.
