iPhone app saves a student’s life

Published

Last week, a student’s life was saved due to the fact that his coach had downloaded a CPR app onto his iPhone. The student was playing a game of basketball when he collapsed due to his heart stopping. Thankfully his coach had downloaded the app the day before and happened to be around. The coach followed the on-screen instructions on the app, Phone Aid, and managed to resuscitate the student who suffered a heart attack on the basketball court. Talk about one more thing your iPhone can now do! If it wasn’t for the app that gave the coach the instructions on how to perform CPR, the student wouldn’t be alive now. I guess there really is an app for everything. Watch a video promo of Phone Aid after the break. It’s available now as a $1.99 download from the iTunes App Store.
