Rumor: remember the rumors last month about iOS 4.3 launching mid December? Well according to Cnet, they believe that the launch could come as early as December 9 (this Thursday). There haven’t been any beta releases of the operating system made available to developers yet, so it’s very unlikely that there will even be an update at all. But with update rumored to only be a minor one that will introduce support for in-app based iPad subscriptions, there might not be a need for any testing. Though I’m sure there are a lot of people who want updates that fix their iOS devices that have stopped working some accessories since 4.2 instead of an update that brings a feature they might not use. The possibility of an announcement happening this Thursday instead of a launch is more likely though, seeing how iOS 4.2 wasn’t released too long ago. We’ll keep you posted if anything happens.
