Infinity Blade, the highly anticipated release from Epic Games, is finally here. Just in time for the winter holidays, this game makes use of Epic’s Unreal engine to bring gaming on the iOS to the next level. Featuring spectacular graphics, previously never thought to be possible on a tablet, let alone a phone- the game pits players against a multitude of monsters in this action-RPG game. Using touch and swipe gestures to control the intense sword-based combat. The game packs highly detailed and ferocious-looking monsters against the backdrop of a fully rendered 3D castle. Clocking in at 318MB, you can imagine the amount of code and textures that have been used to create a game of this stature. If you haven’t seen footage yet, watch the trailer for the game and tell me you’re not impressed. Infinity Blade costs $5.99 on the iTunes App Store and is available for the iPad, iPhone (3GS, 4) and iPod Touch (3G, 4G). Watch the trailer after the break:
