IN Media announces Windows 7 tablet

Today, IN Media Corp has just announced the release of their Windows 7 tablet. According to their CEO, “We wanted to launch a tablet that did everything, not just a media player or eReader or net book but all those things and much more. The touch screen the Windows 7 Tablet PC had all the full functionality of a PC in an elegant and efficient tablet format and because of the operating system users are not limited to what type of video formats they can view as all are supported including the most popular, Flash.” Does this tablet have what it takes to do “everything”? Short of playing dedicated PC games, it probably does. It comes with a 1.66GHz Intel Atom processor, a whopping 160GB of internal storage, HDMI output, a front facing camera, and a 10″ touchscreen. It also runs on Windows 7. The IN Media Windows 7 tablet is due to arrive in the States and Asia in the first quarter of next year, with a recommended retail price of $399. Not bad for a tablet that packs such an enormous storage capacity. Let’s see how long its battery lasts. Watch a promo video after the break:
