HTC Sense to eventually make its way into Windows Phone 7?

When Microsoft announced that manufacturers won’t have a say in the user interface and customizability of Windows Phone 7, consumers rejoiced for this meant there wouldn’t be any of those dreaded “skins” that have plagued Android, and have been the one of the main reasons behind its fragmentation. With skins on top of an operating system, manufacturers would have to delay updates due to all their different customizations – which hasn’t pleased users at all. After all, nobody likes an outdated operating system when they’re supposed to have something newer. Well, it looks like this might start to change for Windows Phone 7. In a recent article by Forbes, Drew Bamford, HTC’s head of User Experience has been quoted as saying:

“We have a good relationship with Microsoft so we’re continuing to work with them to figure out how to enable a Sense experience without breaking their model. Our expectation is that we will be able to do more over time.”

It wasn’t specified by what he meant to “do more over time.” But if this means overlaying WP7 with Sense, I sense that people are going to be unhappy. Let’s hope the updates will stick to being contained within the Samsung Hub. Are you guys looking forward to HTC Sense on WP7?
