Vodafone has some good news for the handful of HTC Magic owners out there – the carrier wants to inject new life into your ancient smartphone body, courtesy of an Android 2.2.1 update. Yup, that’s right – Vodafone’s latest update will include the latest Gmail and Android Market clients, the ability to save applications directly onto an SD card, support for USB tethering that turns the phone into a modem on-the-go, improved support for Active Sync Exchange (email, contacts and calendar sync); enhancements to Bluetooth connectivity as well as a better camera performance.
