HTC Froyo Update rolling out to European Wildfires this week

Good news for HTC Wildfire owners. HTC have kept their promise and will be rolling out the long-awaited Android 2.2 update to your phones starting today – if you’re living in the Europe. The update will hit the rest of the world by February 2011. It’s good to see HTC applying the motto of “leave no man behind”. But it’s disappointing to know that features such as Flash won’t be supported on the HTC Wildfire- apparently its specifications don’t support it. Well, here’s to hoping that HTC continues their support of older phones with Gingerbread (since it’s been mentioned that if a phone can run 2.2, it can run 2.3).
