As of today, Sprint has started rolling out an over the air (OTA) update for the HTC EVO 4G. No it’s not Gingerbread (Android 2.3), but it does include a bunch of goodies for your 4G phone. It includes Blockbuster, Kindle eReader, NOVA (trial) from Gameloft, Sprint Zone update, the latest version of Telenav, VVM app and Sprint TV app, SWYPE keyboard and Scan Now widget for 4G. Talk about a loaded update! It sure sounds like Sprint is trying to say Merry Christmas to their EVO 4G customers a week in advance. You can wait for the OTA to reach you or you can update your phone manually by following the instructions here.
