Looks like a date has been set for an official announcement to put an end to all the speculations about the Galaxy S 2 and turn the phone from myth into reality. According a Korean newspaper, the Chosun Ilbo, they reported that Samsung will be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress next year. The phone that’s rumored to ship with Android 2.3, pack a dual-core processor, a gyroscope and have NFC support will be shown to the world on February 14. Let’s see if Samsung can wow us this time around, after all, the Nexus S didn’t create much excitement, with people labeling the device as a rebranded Galaxy S running Gingerbread. But with the current Galaxy S phone doing so horribly with getting Froyo (Android 2.2) updates, it’s going to be a hard sell to convince people to invest in the phone. Would you be keen on getting the Galaxy S 2?
