Google has officially announced that their cloud-based productivity suite, Google Docs now works in full desktop mode on the iPad. This is great news for everyone who uses Google Docs on their iPads, especially for those working with spreadsheets, though why anyone would prefer working on a tablet over the desktop is beyond my comprehension. But it’s good to know you now have a choice. Maybe for those days when your computer isn’t working or you’re on the road and need to get some spreadsheets edited immediately. The mobile version is still available if you want to do basic editing, so you’re not forced to use the full desktop mode on your tablet.
