It looks like everybody is focusing on their mobile service- it’s just the right thing to do in today’s world. Well, the latest one to follow the trend has been eBay. They’ve already had their app available for download since its launch a couple of years ago, but it seems like they’re looking to improve their mobile software by purchasing Critical Path Software. Critical Path Software was the company that helped them to develop their highly successful eBay app, so eBay’s acquisition basically means they’re going to spend a whole lot more time on improving and fixing any problems with the app. This acquisition could also be a means for eBay to prevent other online auction sites/stores from using their services to create an app of their own.
