CDMA HTC 7 Trophy rumored to launch with Verizon in January

Paul Thurrott, author of Windows Phone Secrets, has just announced on his blog that the HTC 7 Trophy will be making its way to Verizon’s network in January. The HTC 7 Trophy packs a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, a 3.8″ WVGA display, 576MB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, a 5 megapixel camera, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. Even though it isn’t a high end WP7 phone, it is a big deal because it will be the first ever CDMA WP7 device. Hopefully more will follow suit. With rumors of the iPhone appearing on Big Red in January and let’s not forget their 4G LTE phones- it looks like Verizon are going to have a busy first quarter next year. It’s going to be interesting to see if they can handle a sudden surge of customers.
