Gap between iTunes App Store and Android Market closing

It looks like the gap between the amount of apps in the iTunes App Store and Android Market is starting to close. Android has just reported that they have over 200,000 apps available for download, while the iTunes App Store was last reported to be carrying over 300,000 apps probably much more by now but it’s good to see that developers are in favor of Google’s mobile operating system as well. With the onslaught of new Android tablets and phones next year, you can really tell that Android is beginning to take over the world, one step at a time, and the growing number of apps available should help encourage the process.
