Android 2.3 keyboard video footage

The folks over at Droid-Life have posted a hands-on video demonstrating the Gingerbread (Android 2.3) keyboard and so far it looks great. The keyboard isn’t fully functional, but the new way to enter symbols is more intuitive and should make typing much faster. The voice to text function now simply replaces your keyboard instead of covering the whole screen, which is a nice plus so you can see what’s already on the screen. They were even kind enough to upload the keyboard for those of you who are adventurous enough to give it a shot. Just hit the break to check out the video.
