In a recent tweet, the team behind the hugely popular Advent Vega Android tablet announced that they will be concentrating on getting the tablets out to people before they start working on the updates to Android 2.3. Looks like they’ve got their priorities right, though we wonder- how long will it take for them to get their supply to match the tablet’s demand? Something must be done about it. Ever since the tablet’s release, it has been constantly sold out, week after week due to the limited amount of units the company has puts out for sale. If they don’t do anything to sort this problem out soon, when the new dual-core tablets from their competitors start dropping next year, they might start losing their customers. Well, at least we now know that Gingerbread will be arriving on the tablet in the near future, we’ll just have to wait for this shortage problem to be resolved.
