Acer Liquid Metal surfaces in Italy

Some folks in Italy managed to get their hands on Acer’s latest Android phone- the Acer Liquid Metal, and shot an unboxing video to accompany their initial impressions of the phone, and from what they’ve written, it sounds like they’re impressed. Here are some of the interesting points they’ve made about the phone: the top of the phone has a notification area (!) which informs you of missed calls, incoming messages and when your phone is low on battery. The phone features a totally revamped Android interface called Acer Breeze- but it can be easily turned off. The touch screen supports up to 4 simultaneous touches! It sure looks like Acer has outdone themselves with this Android phone. Hopefully it’ll reach our shores soon so we can get our grubby hands on it.
