There’s quite a number of TV streaming apps available on the iPhone, but how about one that lets you watch terrestrial TV? German firm, Equinux has released a new device- the Tizi. This box will enable you to stream all your local channels onto your iOS device. All you need to do is turn on the Tizi, run the app on your iPhone and start streaming your favorite local channels. What a great way to enjoy the tube when your TV is spoilt, or you want to watch TV anywhere besides the living room. The TiZi box can last for up to 3.5 hours, you can charge it with your PC through a USB cable. The downside to using this device is that the iPhone will have to connect to the Tizi’s network using WiFi- that means you won’t have an internet connection while connected to the Tizi unless you’re connected through 3G.
