According to an article in the Wall Street Journal, Verizon will soon be offering discounts for users who subscribe to a family plan. The promotion which starts this Friday and will allow sign ups through January 7 requires users to have smartphones with $29.99 unlimited data plans. Though it was unspecified what sort of discount Verizon will be using for the family plans, the discounts would be up to $30 off monthly bills on family plans that range from $69.99 to $149.99 a month. With more families starting to embrace the usage of smartphones together, Verizon’s family discount is a good attempt at keeping the loyalty of their family customers.
