FiOS, Verizon’s premium fiber optic internet service that allows users to go online at high speeds to stream video content to their PCs and TV, has just received an upgrade to make the service even better. Called Flex View, this app for Android phones allows FiOS users to view on demand programming wherever they are. Flex View allows users to download content to their phones and save them for later viewing even when there is no network connection. Flex View also allows you to download FiOS content- even when you’re not connected to FiOS. One of the special features of Flex View is that you can stop watching a movie on one device and continue viewing it on another right where you left off. When you’re allowed up to 5 devices attached to one Flex View account, it sure is one useful function to have. Free Flex for Android is not out yet, but expect it to come around soon. We’ll keep you posted when it is released. How many of you are FiOS users? Would you find this service useful?
