Contrary to a previous announcement by Dell, an anonymous tipster online has debunked their statement about the Dell Streak not being able to work on T-Mobile’s 3G networks. Apparently the new unlocked Dell Streaks will be released with quadband radios to support 3G on both AT&T and T-Mobile. Though there’s no solid evidence to this claim, its source is supposed to be a reliable one according to Streak Smart. This makes a whole lot more sense, as there wasn’t really any point for Dell to sell an unlocked device that can only be fully utilized on one network- who would buy such a device? But then again, a rumor is a rumor until proven otherwise, so we’ll just have to wait for the phone to drop this December to find out.
