Unknown Acer Android phone surfaces

Some pictures of an unknown Acer smartphone have surfaced on the internet. The sleek looking device will run on an unknown, version of Android that features Acer’s very own customized UI. From the screenshots so far, it looks promising, though people will no doubt complain about the lack of stock Android. Full of sleek curves in a shiny, classy-looking casing, the unknown Acer phone is touted to have some sweet specs: a 4.8″ display with a 1024 x 480 resolution that features LED edge lighting, a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera, paired with an 8 megapixel camera on the back that is capable of recording 720p HD videos. The device also has a 6-axis motion sensor, as to what it will be used for, we’ll find out in due time. The unnamed device doesn’t have a price attached to it yet, but it should be on the shelves in the first half of 2011. Color me interested. Who’s stoked?
