Remember the iPad news service that Apple has been reportedly working on with Rupert Murdoch News Corporation? Apparently Apple will be announcing The Daily next month. The iPad-only daily news paper service will be officially revealed in an event that won’t be a “quiet launch”, according to some sources online. With the date speculated to be December 9, it could be pushed back a week or so. In other news, a French site managed to track down a US trademark an iOS-like icon that could be used for The Daily (pictured on the right). The filing is registered to a company known as “News DP Holdings” which appears to be a shell corporation designed to handle assets for the publication. Looks like The Daily is almost upon us.
