The successor to the original T-Mobile myTouch 3G is finally here. After being announced last month, consumers can finally get their hands on the device. This Android 2.2 phone runs on a 1GHz processor, has a 5 megapixel camera that’s capable of recording 720p HD videos and supports Bluetooth, WiFi and has aGPS. What’s special about this phone is that it supports T-Mobile’s HSPA+ network, which is claimed to move at 4G speeds. The myTouch 4G also supports WiFi calling, in addition to its front facing camera that users can use to video call as well. Retailing for $200 with a 2-year T-Mobile plan you can also purchase the phone for $450 without a contract. With T-Mobile’s latest 4G ad poking fun at AT&T and the iPhone 4, it seems like T-Mobile is trying to make a statement with their 4G network and compatible phone. We’ll need to get our hands on this device before we can make any judgements about it. Head over to the T-Mobile website to get your hands on the myTouch 4G now, and let us know what are your initial impressions of the phone.
