For those of you with a T-Mobile G2, get ready to receive one an extremely useful OTA update. Starting from today (November 3) until next week (November 8), T-Mobile will be pushing out their update that activates WiFi calling on the G2. With this function, users can make calls and sent texts using a WiFi connection. So for those who live in a location with poor network coverage, switching to a WiFi connection to make calls is now an option. This feature will also enable you to make calls from overseas with a WiFi connection. Besides WiFi calling, the update also adds tethering capabilities to the G2, some other features and fixes some bugs, which aren’t listed. Are you a T-Mobile G2 user?
