Steve Wozniak misquoted in Android vs. iOS interview

An interview in a Dutch newspaper, De Telegraaf, had apparently quoted Steve Wozniak saying that the Android phone was better than the iPhone. Well, this sounded like a strange thing for the co-founder of Apple to say, and so engadget called up Steve Wozniak for some clarification on the interview. Turns out that Wozniak was misquoted in the interview and what he said was taken out of context. In the recorded phone call, Wozniak ends with, “I’m not trying to put Android down, but I’m not suggesting it’s better than iOS by any stretch of the imagination. But it can get greater marketshare and still be crappy.” Now that sounds a lot more like what the co-founder of the company that created the iOS would say.
