Sony Reader App To Hit iPhone And Android Devices This December

With Barnes & Noble, Amazon and Borders already heavily into the eBook game, you can bet that Sony doesn’t want to be left out. The company already offers the Sony Reader eBook device, but considering the number of iPhone and Android users out there, it shouldn’t be too surprising to hear that Sony has introduced its Reader application for those two platforms. You get the usual features of an eBook reader program such as bookmarking, note taking and accessibility, so it doesn’t look like it will have the competition screaming for mercy anytime soon, but we’re not going to complain about additional choices. The Sony Reader app will be arriving this December, so keep an eye out for it.
