CEO of Sony Ericsson France, Pierre Perron, has just dismissed all hopes of Sony Ericsson ever releasing an Android tablet in the future. “We have no intention of being the 24th company to offer an (Android) tablet.” he said in a recent statement. So if you’ve been waiting for one from them, it’s time to move on. With the overabundance of Android tablets in the market now and coming soon, it looks like a battle they need not join in the first place. And knowing them, the tablet will probably come with Android 1.6 and with the update to 2.1 coming in the “near future”. Which company would you like to see produce an Android tablet?
