Sony joins the eBook competition with Reader

It looks like Sony will be late to the party with their latest reader app aptly named “Reader”. Talk about straightforwardness. Reader is an app for- I’m pretty sure you’re going to guess this one- reading eBooks. To be released next month, Reader will be available for the Android and iOS operating system. It’s nothing revolutionary- you get to read books you own on the Reader store, bookmark the books you’ve been reading, take notes and all that jazz. But it’s good to know you have yet another reader to choose from the plethora of readers available. In this sort of competition, it’s usually the ones with more books available and better prices that take the cake. I predict that in the future somebody will come up with a reader that can access all your books that you’ve bought from different services without having to switch apps.
