Sling Media’s iPad version of SlingPlayer Mobile is essentially the same as the mobile versions available for other smartphones, except that the app has been programmed to take advantage of the iPad’s superior resolution to give a better TV viewing experience. SlingPlayer Mobile for iPad will set you back $29.99 on the iTunes App Store, though you’ll need a Slingbox Solo or Pro-HD to use it as the app isn’t compatible with older Slingbox devices.
