Skyfire has officially announced that the 1.x versions of its browser will no longer work after December 31, 2010. Unfortunately, one of the operating systems that is still using that version of Skyfire browser is Symbian. So it looks like Symbian users won’t be able to utilize Skyfire for the flash needs anymore. The decision by Skyfire is final, though they will do their best to include Symbian support for the later versions of its browser. Maybe we’ll see it turn up on MeeGo instead. How many of you Symbian Skyfire users are saddened by the news?
