The source code for Samsung’s Android device has been released to the public. While this may not mean much to the regular person, developers and hackers who appreciate the openness of Android will be excited at this news. The source code will allow users to discover the ins and outs of the tablet, and how it works on a technical level. With this information, developers can learn more about the device in order to create better and more efficient apps for it. With that in mind, expect all sorts of apps and possibly custom firmware to make an appearance on the Galaxy Tab very soon.
