According to an official press release, Cellular South will be the next to offer LTE services in the States. With the aid of devices from Samsung, the carrier will launch their LTE network in 2011. Though it wasn’t been confirmed exactly when next year, we’ll keep you posted when they officially announce it. It hasn’t been mentioned what phones will be released on the network, but expect them to be capable of utilizing Cellular South’s LTE services- downloading games and apps at high speeds, streaming media, syncing over the air, video calling and browsing websites in general should be an overall faster and better experience. It’s nice to see smaller networks embrace new technologies faster than some of their larger counterparts. Hopefully this is a sign of good things to come. What phones do you think Samsung will be releasing on Cellular South?
