Samsung’s next Gingerbread phone packs a massive screen

The folks over at engadget have managed to get their hands on yet another Samsung tidbit- a set of slides that show what could be Samsung’s next Android phone. If the rumored Nexus S wasn’t enough, wait till you get a gander at this monster of a phone. With no name at the moment, it is packed to the brim with features in an ultra slim design. The phone is touted to run Android 2.3 Gingerbread on a massive 4.3” or 4.5” sAMOLED2 display. A 1.2GHz processor, 16GB of memory, an 8 megapixel camera (capable of recording 1080p HD video), WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS complete the package. With a launch date of February next year, things sure are looking sunny on the Android side of the fence. If the phone comes out around the same time as the Nexus S, which would you prefer?
