With the silence that RIM has been keeping about any upcoming phones, there has been a lot of speculation about what RIM will be coming up with next. One of the latest rumors to surface is that RIM might be working on a lower-end version of the Torch. The phone will have a slide out screen, but it won’t be as big as the Torch’s, and instead of a full QWERTY keypad, users will get a SureType or T9 keypad like the lower-end BlackBerry devices.
