Remember the earlier report about Dell’s plans to switch from BlackBerry phones to their Windows Phone 7 running Dell Venue Pro phones? Well, RIM has just issued a statement in response to Dell’s plans. In their statement, they say that it’s highly unlikely that Dell will save any money by switching to the Dell Venue Pro from the BlackBerry. Sounds to me like somebody is feeling a bit sore. After all, Dell isn’t the first company to make the move away from BlackBerry phones. We wonder what sorts of tricks RIM has up their sleeves to regain their footing with their slowly diminishing enterprise crowd?
