The app which is available for iOS and Android devices, will deliver the home shopping experience to users who are not at home. With the app, users can watch streaming live video from the Jewelry Television live-broadcast, in addition to educational videos-on-demand to learn more about jewelry, have access to the Gemopedia which includes gemstone facts, pronunciations, a birthstone calendar and more- basically, the app will allow users to make educated and well informed purchases right from their phone itself. The app also includes a “virtual ring sizer” which allows you to measure the ring size you need by just pressing your finger directly onto the screen of your smartphone. That’s what I call innovation! The Jewelry Television app can now be downloaded for free through the iTunes App Store or Android Market. But if you’re on another smartphone, you’ll have to make do with the mobile website.
