PopCap has officially announced the that they are porting their two most popular games- Peggle and Plants vs. Zombies to Android in the first quarter of 2011. After the massive success of Angry Birds when it was ported over to Android, developers are now finally realizing the potential of the operating system as a gaming platform. We wonder if PopCap will be going for the free download, advert based revenue model that Rovio has been using for Angry Birds, or the paid app approach they’ve been using on the App Store.
