It looks like Opera has kept their promise and released Opera Mobile on time. If you already have Opera Mini on your Android phone, don’t be confused- even though they are both browsers from Opera, they work differently. Opera Mobile allows you to surf the internet like you were on a desktop PC, so you get to view sites the way they were meant to be viewed. Opera Mini, on the other hand, worked by sending your page requests to a remote server for compression before you received it on your phone- this method can sometimes mess up the way a site looks on your phone, and images will be of a lower quality after compression. If you’re looking for an alternative browsing experience to your default Android browser, try giving it a shot- it’s free after all. The browser is now available for download on the Android Market. How many of you will be using Opera Mobile on your Android phones?
