Next year, iPhones will be used to navigate 3D holographic images

ProVision Interactive, a company that specializes in 3D consumer products, has just announced that they will be releasing an app that allows you to use your iPhone as a remote control to navigate 3D holographic displays in 2011. Next year, ProVision Interactive will have 3D displays set up around the country that allow users to view 3D holographic images without the use of any special glasses. And it is at these displays, users will be able to use their iPhone’s accelerometer to translate hand motions into mouse movements. Besides those details we don’t have much information, though I’m sure ProVision will have more details as we draw closer to its release date.
