Some new pictures of an upcoming phone from LG, codenamed the LG Star, have surfaced online. This time, we get a clearer look at what its UI looks like (very Touchwiz-like), in addition to some pretty impressive benchmark results (1759 on Quadrant and what appears to be a HDMI port at the top of the phone. And if rumors of the phone packing a dual-core processor are true, this could be LG’s hit in the high-level Android phone sector. That “belt clip” might need to go though- I think it brings the phone down a notch- who wants to wear their phone on their belts anyway? That sounds like an invitation for a scratched screen to me.
