The next time you grab a flight on the Iceland Express and you realize you forgot your mp3 player or handheld console, don’t fret. You’ll be able to rent an iPad for the duration of your flight. You might be thinking- an iPad, with no internet access, what’s so great about that? Well, the iPad has been loaded with movies, television shows, magazines and of course games for your in-flight entertainment. Costing you $13 for the duration of the flight, it’s definitely cheaper than buying one yourself if you don’t see yourself using it often. But getting to experience it on the plane might change your mind. At the moment the iPad rental service is only available on their transatlantic flights, but will soon be expanded to include all of their planes. How many of you would be enamored by such an idea? Let’s see if our own airlines start providing iPad rental services as well.
