HTC releases the source codes for G2, Droid Incredible and Desire Z

ROM developers and Android hackers are going to find this piece of news very exciting. HTC has just released the source codes for some of their biggest Android phones. As of today, you can download the source code for their G2, Desire Z and Droid Incredible from the HTC Development Center. From today onwards, look out for more, and new custom ROMs supported by these devices. Since developers will have access to how these phones work, they can develop custom ROMs that can take full advantage of the phone’s hardware. Studying the code for the G2 might also give ROM developers some insight on how to bypass the phone’s root security.
