Since we won’t be getting our hands on Sharp’s upcoming 3D phones, we’ll just have to settle for what we can have. Hasbro is set to unveil a new toy that may give an even better experience- sans the cumbersome “binoculars” of course. Targeted at children or adults looking for a little immersive fun on their iPhone or iPod Touch, the My3D is a binoculars-looking device that enables users to experience 3D content on their iPhone or iPod touch. All they have to do is plug in their iPhone/iPod Touch, and look through the binoculars. 3D content will be sold on Apple’s App Store, with varying prices- some content will even be free. In addition to 3D content from Discovery, Sony and Imax, Dreamworks Animation is said to be onboard to develop 3D material as well. The My3D will be priced at $30 and will be available next Spring at stores where you can buy an iPod Touch or iPhone. Expect a lot of people walking into walls when toy hits the stores next year, will you be one of them?
