GT-i9200 firmware leaked

The firmware for an unknown Samsung phone has leaked onto the internet. The firmware is for a phone with the model number GT-i9200- strikingly similar to the Galaxy 2 revealed this week by Eldar Murtazin as the i9100. The folks at xda-developers who went through the code managed to discover that the device runs on Samsung’s 5PC110 Hummingbird processor found on the Galaxy S, not the dual-core processor rumored to be in the Galaxy S2. The contents of the firmware have yet to be unraveled and ways to uncover it are still being worked on at the moment. Speculations are pointing the phone towards the Galaxy S2/Gingerbread phone that Samsung will be releasing next year. Though nothing is confirmed at the moment, we’ll keep you posted when we find out anything new.
