Gingerbread will be arriving for developer Nexus One phones in the next few days

Android developers all over the world will be holding their breath for the next few days- as they await the arrival of Gingerbread on their Nexus One phones. According to a tweet of good news from a member of the Open Handset Alliance, the new version of Android will be rolling out over the air really soon. The tweet, which is in Spanish, loosely translates to: “Prepare your Nexus One (Developer version) for Android OTA update 2.3 (Gingerbread) in the next few days :-D”. This piece of good news (if it turns out to be true) should bring smiles onto the faces of Android fans everywhere- Google sure delivered their goodies on time this holiday.
