The dawn of Gingerbread is speculated to be very near. According to some rumors online, Andy Rubin, Google’s Engineering VP in charge of Android, will be announcing Gingerbread at the “D: Dive Into Mobile” event in San Francisco this December 6. After months of waiting and speculation, we might finally get the official announcement to what Gingerbread will be about, and when it will finally reach our phones. As of now, nobody knows what will be in Gingerbread besides an updated UI. With Google recently teasing us with their Gingerbread men, and Eric Schmidt parading his Android phone at the web 2.0 conference- all signs point to soon, but people are just dying to know when that really is.
